Phlebotomy Training

Phlebotomists are allied healthcare providers who perform procedures such as:

o Venipuncture and capillary puncture
o Evaluate patient’s ability to withstand venipuncture procedures
o Explain procedures, gain consent and answer patient’s questions
o Point of care testing
o Collect non-blood specimens
o Perform centrifugation and aliquoting
o Prepare specimens for transport and analysis

Our Phlebotomy Technician program (CPT) offers certification by the National HealthCareer Association. Benefits to obtaining a Phlebotomy Certification include more job opportunities, an increased pay scale, job security, and increased subject matter expertise.

Requirements: You must be 18 years of age and must have a High School Diploma or GED to register for this course.

Class Schedule: This course is 7 weeks long, two days per week, specific times below. The National exam will be held the last day of class.

Tuition: $900 (Payment plan accepted, details below)
Registration is $200 and tuition for the Phlebotomy Technician course is $700. Cost includes all materials, books and supplies. The National exam through NHA is an additional cost of $115 (not included in the tuition) and is paid directly to NHA at the end of the course.

Payment Plan:
$200 at registration
$400 on the 1st day of class
$300 on the 4th week of class
The National exam of $115 will be due on the 5th week of class.
