Phlebotomy Training

Phlebotomist are allied healthcare providers who perform procedures such as venipuncture, evaluate patient’s ability to withstand venipuncture procedures, explain procedures, and answer patient’s questions. CPT’s also perform basic point of care testing, such as glucose levels and coagulation levels, and prepare blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens for testing in the laboratory.

Our Phlebotomy Technician program (CPT) offers certification by the National HealthCareer Association. Benefits to obtaining a Phlebotomy Certification include more job opportunities, an increased pay scale, job security, and increased subject matter expertise.

Requirements: You must be 18 years of age and must have a High School Diploma or GED to register for this course.

Class Schedule: This course is 7 weeks long, two days per week, specific times below. The National exam will be held the last day of class.

Cost: $900 - Registration is $100 and tuition for the Phlebotomy Program is $800. The cost includes all materials, books and supplies. The exam is an additional cost of $115 (not included in the tuition). Payment Plan accepted.

Payment Plan: $100 registration fee. $400 on the 1st day of class and $400 on the 4th week. The National exam cost of $115 will be due on the 5th week.
