Certified Medical Assistant Course

The Medical Assistant course (includes the Phlebotomy Technician course) prepares students to work in private medical practices, hospitals, medical clinics, laboratories, and other medical facilities. The student will learn how to perform administrative duties, take patient medical histories, perform patient vitals, EKGs, collect blood specimens, administer medications, sterilize medical instruments, plus much more. The student may sit for both national exams: Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician.

Total Duration: 15 weeks of class, two sessions per week

Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent. Exceptions may apply, please call for those that do not have a High school diploma or equivalent.

Cost: The total cost of the program is $2100. We do offer payment plans for the students with no interest. This includes all materials, books, and supplies.

National Exams: Students will take the Medical Assistant national exam on the last day of class. The student may also take the Phlebotomy national exam as well. The exam fee is $165 for the Medical Assistant and $129 for the Phlebotomy Technician.

Payment Plan Breakdown (Holiday Special Payment Plan Options):
Option 1 – Monthly:
$100 due at registration
$100 due anytime in January
$475 due each month for 4 months, starting in February

Option 2 – Biweekly:
$100 due at registration
$100 due anytime in January
$285 due every 2 weeks, beginning the 1st week of February

Option 3 – Student Choice:
