Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Course – 19 February 2020 – Bedford TX
Medical Assistant is an allied health occupation who perform administrative and clinical tasks to support the work of physicians and other health professionals. This course includes: Phlebotomy, EKG and Patient Care duties. They perform routine tasks and procedures such as measuring patients’ vital signs, administering medications and injections, recording information in medical records-keeping systems, preparing and handling medical instruments and supplies, and collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, getting certified as a medical assistant is excellent because medical assisting is predicted to be one of the nation’s fastest growing occupations through 2020. Our program offers certification through the National Healthcareer Association which certifies Clinical Medical Assistants (CCMA) providing with benefits to more job opportunities, an increase pay scale, job security, and increased subject matter expertise.
Requirements: You must be 18 years of age and must have a High School Diploma or GED to register for this course.
Cost: Registration and tuition for the Clinical Medical Assistant course is $1900 – Cost includes all materials, books and supplies. The National exam will be held on the last day of class. The exam is an additional cost of $155 (not included in the tuition). Payment Plan accepted.
Evening Course: This course is 15 weeks long, two days a week on Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 pm-10:00 pm. The class starts on Wednesday, 19 February 2020.
Payment Plan: $100 at registration. $600 on the 1st day of class, $600 on the 4th week, and $600 on the 7th week. The National exam cost of $155 will be due on the 12th week of class.
